Glastonbury, CT, February 5, 2010 – Lynn A. Damon, a decorated veteran professional photographer based out of Glastonbury, CT, today announced she has won a Kodak Gallery Award for Photographic Excellence. Damon received the Gallery Award, the 10th of her career, for her image ‘Day Dreamer’ on February 5, 2010 at the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association (CPPA) annual print competition. The image was also awarded a Judge’s Choice Award.
Damon’s combined print total was amongst the top three entered in the field. During the convention weekend, Damon also acted as Chairman of the day on Saturday. Damon is a past president of the CPPA (2004-2005).
Damon has been in business for over 20 years in the Hartford area. In 2009 she opened a studio/gallery in Glastonbury. Lynn is a Master Photographic Craftsman. She earned these degrees through the Professional Photographers of America.
